From Dr. Howells, DVM
After more than 10 years in clinical practice, I opened Peace Wings at the height of our COVID pandemic because I saw a need. End-of-life appointments became the hardest type of care for traditional veterinary practices to provide, and I saw that this was breaking the hearts of my veterinary colleagues. It is equally heart-breaking for pets to receive loving end-of-life care when the ability to welcome whole families into the clinic is limited. As long as no one in your family has been exposed to or become ill from COVID, please welcome me into your home. It is an honor for me to care for you and your pet where you have shared years of love and good memories. Let’s make saying good-bye a celebration of your pet’s life.
